We have finished the desk we have been working on that was inspired by the British designer/architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. I have posted pictures, background design info and progress photos on my dorset custom furniture blog at the link below. We thank him for his inspiration and hope to do other pieces using some of his elements of style. The guy was a great (and unbelievably prolific) designer.

Looks very nice indeed! I'm a huge fan of cross banding, did a similar setup at college with walnut/burr and kingwood and I still like to look at it in the living room!

Do you have a website?

Beautiful! But what does the the other half look like?

Great work as usual from you and your crew Dan, love to visit your Blog and discover what your doing.

It screams Quality..
How long did it take you to design and finish the desk.
Can only dream of reaching your standard...Thanks for
posting the pic

If I had the skill to make a desk of that quality, I'd sure hate to part with it...

Stunning!!

That is the reason I will rarely make anything for people Russ. Sometimes the money paid in no way compensates for the effort.

nicely done; VERY Nicely Done.
I particularly like the classical bulge to the turned legs, especially as they all match.
Well done indeed, an inspiration to all.
