Untrue. I’ve done several small pieces at a time. It’s not difficult to put more than one lead on the negative side of the charger. 🙄

As for time, do you stand and watch your kettle boil or do you carry on with something else. Same with the washing machine or the oven …


If you’re removing the surface deposit with sand paper or scotchbrite you’re abrading it again.

If you want to derust anything that has a bright surface in some places or has markings etc then Electrolysis is still the way to go.

I’ve seen some lovely old tools destroyed with Acid de-rusting.
