OK....put your hands up and go to the back of class if you didn't see Clarkson last night :D ........the funniest thing I've seen on telly this year  - Rob

I liked this show, it wasn't full of the usual scripted stuff. You could tell a lot of what they were going through was real. Bravo.

Excellent viewing!
Especially when the nut froze to Clarkson's bottom lip
beejay

The nut in mouth incident was very funny. However not the funniest thing this year - that goes to Hyperdrive - genius.

If you missed it is repeated on BBC2 on Sunday at 8.00pm I think

yep

MOTORING: Top Gear
On: BBC 2 London (102)
Date: Sunday 29th July 2007 (starting in 3 days)
Time: 20:00 to 21:00 (1 hour long)

Polar Special.
In Top Gear's most ambitious and arduous challenge to date Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond attempt to race from Northern Canada to the North Pole, 450 miles away. The terrain in between is some of the toughest on earth - a mix of mountainous land masses and jagged sea ice where temperatures can drop to a mind-numbing minus 65 degrees Celcius. Jeremy and James will be driving a specially adapted pick up truck whilst Richard will be travelling on something a little less high tech - a sled pulled by a team of ten Canadian Inuit Dogs.

Very, very funny! The images of May sat with trousers around ankles as Clarkson drives off will stay with me forever
Philly :D

I watched that - it was the most childish, puerile, immature, politically incorrect thing I have seen for many a year.

It was also one of the most enjoyable programs I have watched in AGES - I laughed out loud nearly all the way through!!!! Absolutely brilliant!!! :D :D

TV as it should be - pure entertainment, with no phone - in vote to see who wins, no rigged phone - in contest etc.....

Clarkson for leader of the Conservatives!!!! Would get my vote for sure!!!!

Saw it last night - very funny, particularly the nut stuck to Clarkson's lip  That was probably payback for him driving like a nutter and wrecking the fuel tank. Thought James May was very civilised with the G&Ts and wine 8) 8) But I felt sorry for poor old Hammond - he deserved to win. The little bloke always gets picked on - life isn't fair

Cheers

It was a very entertaining show with great scenes that we hysterical. You could sense that Clarkson and May were not prepared as usual, but soon realised the severity of the environment!

I also wished that Richard Hammond won the race - that would put Clarkie's nose out of joint for a while! Smug git! :D
