looking at getting a decent one at last, any one got the ln one the 12" one they look quite good, i also like the adria one as i have the adria dovetail saw and thats a really nice saw cuts nice etc, was also looking at the pax ones but dont know much about these what they cut like etc, peoples views/thoughts would be great thanks.

Lots of decent ones out there now...I use LN but as always 'try before you buy' Best thing to do IMO would be to get along to a Classic Hand Tools event and have a go with several different makes - Rob

I use a LN carcase saw at the moment and am in the market for a tenon saw. Personally I am quite interested in the new 16" LN, which according to Chris Schwartz is good. Not sure if its available in the UK yet.

found this earlier looks quite good as u get to make your own handle, here, I find that all the newer/modern saw the handle hole are just miles to big feels to lose, i have yet to try the LN one but from the pictures looks quite big to me, and spending all that money and not having a comfy handle would be crazy imo, we will see.

I've just received the first batch of pax 1776 large tenon saws with 14" x 3-1/2" blades and closed handles. The specs are the same as the open handled ones but in a bigger, heavier more powerful saw.

If anyone's interested I'd be happy to sort out a passaround????
