Hi to all.
I’m looking for a cost effective way of getting a couple of clamps to get me started on the Altendorf WA80. I understand there are expensive options which when I get going, I’ll probably entertain at a later date. Really just now I need asap a solution. I’ve looked at eccentric clamps and kreg/Axminster clamps, I’ve decided a couple of 6” kreg hold down clamps would do for now. Does anyone know if there is a specific T nut available that would be both compatible with the slider slot and the thread for the kreg clamp? I’m having trouble trying to find the specific thread for both and the specific t nut to suit the saw. Maybe someone out there has had the same issue and solution? The clamp in question is the KBC6 152mm which seems to be one that is popular for this type of application, I’ll attach a picture of that and a typical t nut I’m thinking of using.
