Table Top Treatment

We have a ‘mid century’ Nathan extending dining table with an oak veneer tiptop.
The Boss looks after the top with regular wax polishing but has recently read that Danish Oil would be better.
What do the experts think?

Danish oil is generally used as a finish on bare wood not for maintaining an existing finish
