Hi all - I don't want to resurrect a debate which may already have been had, but this is what I chose for what it's worth.
Was looking for a long time at the Bosch GTS 10 XC and about to jump in when I thought it might be a. too big for my tiny workspace and b. overkill for what I do. I therefore plumped for the TS55 and MFT top (not the Festool one, too expensive for me). I am really pleased with it, can get fantastically accurate rips and crosscuts, even very narrow ones. Happier too that it is intrinsically safer for a somewhat cackhanded woodworker like me.
In anticipation of getting the table saw I bought the Ian Kirby book The Accurate Table Saw but clearly it is now surplus to requirements. If anyone wants it I would be happy to post gratis. It won't be for a week though, am off for a week to France.
