Table saw for £250-£300

Hi

I am a novice and in the process of purchasing a table saw with a budget of £250-£300.

It would need to be portable and I am considering the Makita MLT100.

I would only use it approximately once a month, mainly for ripping soft wood.

If anyone knows of a better saw in this price range, any advice would be appreciated.

If you can stretch your budget and have the room, this one is pretty good.

I've had one for about a year now, it's a solid machine, the only downside is the 200mm cutting capacity.

It is worth taking into consideration noise levels. Are you planning on using it in a domestic environment?

If so the Axminster one is an induction motor so a lot quieter, don't know about the others mentioned.
