All pictures are as LINKS because they are too big, if you click on them they should open to fit your screen, but on the forum would have been to large.
Right, in total I've made 24 of these so far. Theres about another 24 to do at some point.
All the timber was planed up and marked out, morticed and tennoned. Then all the inside edges of the stiles and rails were rebated either side as the doors are boarded on both front and back. I then routed a 45 degree chamfer on all the inside edges, to create V grooves on all the joints, matching up to the T&G boards that were to be fixed inside the doors. Using cascamite glue I glued up all the mortice and tennon joints, sash cramped and wedged. Checking the door was square before putting to aside to glue the next one up. After they were all glued up, I hand cut off the tennons & wedges flush with the stiles.

I then cleaned up the door stile edges with a belt sander and an orbital. All the tongue and groove boards were chamferred with the router on the ends, and then were pushed thru a drum sander. Then came to fixing the boards into the doors. Secret nailing thru the tongues. However on the end boards they had to be fixed thru the face and were filled with brummer, as the doors are interior.

The doors now boarded and the brummer's going off, while another door is getting boarded.
I finished the doors with the orbital sander, 80 grit first and 100 grit after, this was unbeliveably smooth and no ring marks left.

I hope you've enjoyed reading this work-in-progress. I'm sorry there are'nt as many pictures as I'd like to have put in, as this was at work. But felt I had to do a WIP, as I cannot no longer do any work at home for the time being, until I get my own house.
Thanks for reading,
Simon.
