Sunday Mail Free DVD

I am having a go at the Sunday mail DVD game that was free last week end.
Guess what, I'm stuck on number 9 the enigma question.
Has anyone got any tips?

This may come as a shock to you, but not everyone reads the Daily Mail. Give us a clue.

Caretaker,

the clue has to do with some statement attributed to him...
Punch the letters on the tickertape into the Enigma machine, write down what get's lit up on the other board. The 'a' is incorrectly returned as a 'h' instead of an 'e'.

After the first few letters, you should get it...
