Still more wood ID.

Foraged some tree that came down in the storm earlier this year when I was up in the Lake District. Intending to turn a bowl (have an idea to find logs wherever I holiday in the UK and do the same, sentiment and all).

Unless it's labelled, or has leaves I'm useless with this stuff. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Ash by the look of it....The pink colouring and grain pattern look very similar to some that I have.

Does look similar to some Ash I have but yours has much more pink colouration, it's absolutely beautiful, I've had the same thought of collectiong wood from where ever we holiday.
