Their new offerings look interesting. I think it will take a long time for Stanley to rebuild it's name. I think the trades are more likely to buy these chisels initially. I wish them well tho, there needs to be quality in the low-to-mid range.
 
Those chisels look OKish. Somehow with those planes I'm again searching for the set screws near the mouth...
 
Confused about the right hand thumb rule in the picture it shows the fingers pointing in the opposite direction of rotation.

The router in the pic is upside down, so that's right isn't it?

In the article he says that if the router is in place ready for use, then the thumb would point at the floor, thus reversing what you see on the pic. I'm not in the 'shop now, so could be wrong, but I think I'm right :wink:

Sure? If you take a look at the cutting edge of the bit, you'll find out, that it wouldn't cut, if the bit turns against the fingers. :wink:
