I'm lucky that I regularly work in the US, so I can bring home goodies.
About a year ago I brought with me a set of aluminium extrusions with stops, micro adjusters, T track ,knurled rass nuts, etc etc.

I have made myself a drill press table

Fitted the band saw fence

New fence on the Kity sliding table which is extendable

and today I chopped the top off my Trend router fence and made a new one from 2 pieces of extrusion

At last I can close my fence to smallest router bits and have stops set in a jiffy.

Now I have one piece left for the mitre saw.

I just transfer the stops around when I need it,and have added stick on rules from Axminster.

Very chuffed with myself :D and for a grand outlay of 72$ and some slight negotaiting with the Airline check in staff

72$ for that lot

Nice jobs there Andy, you are right to be chuffed.

Surprised to see the sliding table on the kity on the right of the blade?? Left is more usual with fence on the right

I know about the Kity being the wrong way around - I bought it second hand (hardly used) and it was assembled that way and most importantly the stick on ruler was put on with that configuration.

I carfully move the fence over to the other side of the blade if I'm tilting the blade (don't do that very often so it is not a problem)

I'm sort of used to it now.

Yup I'm delighted with the haul, it was all 50% off in a shop in Houston, I also bought a load odf 1/4" nuts, bots and knurled brass niuts to keep me in stock from Home Depot (hard to get in NL) I think a whole bag full for 6$!
It was from PraireRiver Woodworking - who sold the patents of this extrusion to Kreg :http://www.kregtool.com/products/ka/product.php?PRODUCT_ID=48
I will buy one more piece of the extrusion on my next trip to fit to my mitre guage for the Kity (forgot about that in my plans  )
