advice given to me on some spam I have received (music startrexx_

In your contact lists, in whatever email client you use, type NOsPAM between the names and the @ sign. This will render your email useless to web bots.

The reason for using the little S is to trip up the new bots that look for the words, "NOSPAM" and strip it out of the addresses it snatches. You can make it look like No-sPaM if you like. That will trip 'em up good.
from Russel the muscle.

I tend not to put in the @ symbol or dots at all.. so my email address would be something like "Fecn at ukworkshop co uk"... That fools all the spambots too.
