Put me in mind of 'Tiger Eye' Polished Stone ( the lower two pictures )
Very nice, and something very 'personal / unique' as a gift or similar.

Steve, your first picture really shows how a pen kit can be transformed by the right materials and shape. I (think I) have some of those kits but have never actually used them.

How do you create the blank?

great pens steve i like the top two best, what material are those?
the 3rd bottom picture doesnt look quite right (maybe its just the pic) the ring around the middle draws my eye and looks odd with the figure of the wood changing right next to it :-k great pens, somthing which i have never attempted, a bit too small and fiddly for me

many thanks for the very kind comments, and a very big thank you to greggy who spent ages on the phone to me telling me what i was doing wrong.
Love the stone jenx, really nice and as you say, very personal.

The top acrylic was made by an American, it was put together using a wood burr and acrylic made in a mould.
