Hello All,

I’ve had this fine brass wire cleaning brush for years, my fathers before it came to me, and it’s really useful for non aggressive cleaning surface oxidisation from tools, polishes nicely too without removing a tools patina and aged history of use. It’s now looking a little ragged, so I’ve been looking to replace, however, not so easy, only one place I’ve found stocks it, J Richards Surplus, but it’s been out if stock months. Any ideas where I may source another, does not have to be Cannings, just as long as it’s really soft, I’d say the strands on this are no more than 0.5 - 1mm thickness.

Might try brass suede brushes.
Edit. Forget that... I've just seen your other post with pictures... Tool Replacement Advice
Maybe a mod can delete this thread?
