I've been on here for an hour, had three cups of tea, and there's not a peep yet.

Well Christmas dinner went well at my own fair hands and I and the family are now well stuffed. had the obligatory sleep this afternoon as usual too. Bit more falling down fluid is called for now.

Turkey , Duck and beef , with roast pots , Brussels , carrots , sausages in bacon , and gravy , twas nice :lol:

For afters was a flan made with , digestive biscuit's base , tangerine moose and segments , washed down with some Tea

Ours were maple syrup/duck fat roasted along with a Duck and cherry pie hmmmn


followed by homemade potted stilton with pepper , french mustard , fig mustard and ground nutmeg & butter, what's the expressin for bloated ....blaaaaargh....lovely

Sounds delicious, we had the usual roast turkey with all the trimmings, I prefer goose, but it was nice.

I had extra custard on my christmas pud as well! and I still had a bit of room for cheese and biscuits with port to conclude.

We have plenty of veg left for bubble & squeak tommorrow.

As usual telly is poor.

Okay... screen a bit blurry now I have spent most of the day reading "workbenches" by Chris Schwarz . I opened the champers for the dearly beloved who has exercised remarkable restraint ( considering I bought her a set of expensive cooking knives ),...compared to previous years If I were to suggest to her in this condition we should have had chips I think my liver would be the boxing day treat not the gooses
Looking forward to that pint
