One of the advantages of the Smart and Neat hinges is that they are easy to fit if you have the right cutter and a router table. They are also stopped so no need for a stay or chain. But admittedly expensive.

Some other expensive hinges are these stopped butt hinges from Brusso. Again you don't need a stay or chain which makes the box look a lot less cluttered.
