Help - I cant get sketch up to run on my machine. ( I have a Compaq laptop with AMD turion 64 dual core chip , and 256 intergrated nvidia graphics running vista, 1gb ram, 500GB hard )
I downloaded sketch up 7 and it seemed to install okay but when i opened it it got as far as the first screen (with the little man) then froze - eventually i deleted the installation and started again , same thing happened.
Looked on the google trouble shooting and it said i needed to download a new driver for my graphics , and/or a patch for vista compatibilty - did both - no dice
tried it on my wifes laptop which is roughly the same spec but has a seperate graphics card - still no dice.
at this point i said bugger it, and wrote it off as a vista compatibility problem, however other folk on here are saying that they run sketch up in vista no problem
any thoughts ? ( It would be handy if i could get it working as i need to plan out a giant wooden sheep for my comp entry)
