size matters - how do I get a bigger avatar!

my avatar is 80 x 60 pixels but appears smaller than others - what is the dpi (resolution|) that gives the biggest displayed size yet stays within the 80 x 80 pixel and 6kb file size rule (mine is 3kb at the moment).

As an aside, I used IFRAN viewer s/w to resize an image.

Try it at max 140 pixels. I think that's the current limit requested by the rules but can't find the reference at the mo.

Also found the photo I originally wanted to use. Simple to resize with irfan viewer from the 2400 pixels it started as.
