Single phase upright router table

Hi, a friend of mine is after a single phase upright router (I guess this may also be an overhead router.

He does have an ELU unit and would like another.

Does anyone know where I could get one from, working or otherwise??

arent the elu units basically the same as the dewalt series ? lots of those arround both new and second hand

Elu used to do a small light industrial router. There is some info and pics here. As already said the dewalt router bodies should fit or do you require the complete machine?

The unit my friend is after is one with a pedal under the table to allow the router to operate etc... not sure what model it is

theres an old elu router station here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ELU-ROUTER--TABLE ... 5002r24783 doesnt look to be in spectacularly good nick and not sure about the footswitch - but footswitches are easy to wire up (tho i dont like them myself as its too easy to tread on them by accident - i'd far rather have a bog standard hand operated NVR)

I had seen that but the my friend is after has the router mounted above the table apparently..... and some foot operated mechanism underneath the table....

I think what your friend is looking for is known as a "pin router". Kits do exist to convert a regular router, you can also find the industrial versions of them on ebay although I did not see any just now.

To be honest I am not 100% sure what it is but I have emailed him the details and he will come back to me.

I knwo it isnt the easiest way to find something but your help has been great so far. I think it is the PIN router and there is one that Wadkin make
