Shop Vac

I broke beyond repair my old shop vac that extracted from the bandsaw and disc sander by using the stepped adapter from APTC. It also doubled as a general vacuum cleaner on tidy days. I was thinking of replacing it with one of the White series vacs from the same company (the one with the 15L capacity drum).
Is there anything else I should look at or anything better?

Rob,
That is two rather different particle sizes that you are trying to extract there. I would rather go for this thing http://www.axminster.co.uk/name/dust+ex ... -21425.htm
I have had the white version on a drum sander for some time and it inclines more to the HVLP kind of suction I think you need

Several here including myself have found this a good buy. It has a useful selection of power tool adaptor nozzles and it's fairly quiet too.

Thanks for that, I've got the white version as well hooked up to the Kity 419. I think what I'll do is get another one from APTC with the castor frame so it can be trundled around the shop. I already have the smaller hose so that I can connect it straight to the stepped adaptor and then onto power tools, bandsaw or disc sander - Rob
