That is an amazing piece of work. The detail is awesome and the choice of woods excellent. A true labour of love and something to be very proud of, well done.

I dont know about about other newbies to Scrolling , but when I see a piece of art like this I think will I ever be able to make something like this .My answer is all I can do is aspire to do so .
It's a really beautiful piece and seems to have been done with a lot of love and care.
When Geoff deems to comment so favorable on it it must surly be a masterpiece .Thank you

Bob ,can you tell me how long it takes to make something like this ,taking into account your motor bike what kind of time frame are you talking about ,
Are these special pieces of art or are you fitting them in between bread and butter work if you know what I mean.

hi eugene thanks for the kind comments i dont keep track of the hours it takes but id say the horse took approx 100 hours working on it 3 to 4 hours a day on and off the motorbike probaly about 120 hours or so next time i make something i will keep a record of the hours it takes me thanks to geoff and greg for their comments

Another great piece of workmanship bobman.
Very impressive and a joy to see !

Thanks for your answers Bob , I ask because if I ever get to grips with scrolling I will not be under the impression that it's just a matter of spending a couple of hours and you have something like those ,
The way I am approaching scrolling is that if I can get as much pleasure in just sitting there and cutting a straight line as you and other scrollers seem to get from turning out masterpieces like these I will
be very very happy . I would hope to reach a level whereby I can produce something that I could show to say that I am enjoying myself whatever the hours I spend at the saw.
I am sure there are many scrollers who have pieces that they are proud of why not let us see them .I gather from earlier posts that pictures of your work were not posted because you had fears of copying
but the oneoffs you have kept in your homes for yourselves, could you just give us a little peek please .

just goes to show the simplest of tools can produce works of art in the hands of a master. Very well done indeed
