So how do you work out the cut order and layout on 8x4 sheets to maximize what you get out of it?
So how do you work out the cut order and layout on 8x4 sheets to maximize what you get out of it?
I mean you could, similarly you could sharpen up your panel saw and cut them all by hand, or... SketchCutLite (other layout optimisers are available)I would think each job would need a different layout and cutting order unless it is multiples of the same thing. The use of full scale paper templates of the thing you are making is ideal for smaller bits as you can wiggle them about to fit into spaces between larger pieces and minimize waste .
