I don't know of others set up but mine has a service road between the two streets and the sheds back on to this . Ive been in my house for around 9 years and the workshop has been up for most of that time .
Quite a few of us used to meet out the back alley for a chat and lunch etc but people moved on and it ended up just Gordon and i that used to chat out the back and run the country and other peoples doings .
If we heard each other moving around we always opened the gates and id show him what i was making and he'd advise me on financial matters etc.
( He was a few years older than me)
Any way today i hear the gates open so i unlocked and opened up to have our chat and his wife is standing there but no Gordon .
He passed away a few days ago .
I don't think i realised what a great mate he was until today .
So be it a cup of tea a can of beer or a glass of wine raise your glass to absent friends .

I sorry to hear about your friend. I don't think we really realise what we have in friendship until its not there anymore. That hole will always be there, but it will be a constant reminder of the good times you had together. I raise my glass in honour of Gordon. Cheers.

I know how you feel, it will take awhile but the worst will pass.
I lost my best friend last Nov. and I still think about him.
