Does anyone know of a recent review of a horizontal whetstone grinder by Whetstone Engineering Co?
I still have a review of a similar machine by Buckingham Tool Co. of Farnham in Antony Talbot's "Working Wood" of Spring 1980! I've not seen anything since.
Any opinions anybody?
Fred.

I've had an email from www.sharpenset.co.uk

"Thank you for your enquiry, I have attached brochures and prices for your information. The basic Whetstone machine is currently on offer at £399.00 + VAT and we are offering a 40% discount on all attachments for a limited time.In answer to your other email, it is the same machine as reviewed in Working Wood and at the time sold through Buckingham, although always manufactured by ourselves".

At £400 I'm bound to assume this is a quality machine. By the time you've bought a couple of attachments you could be up to £600.
I don't know any woodworkers in this bracket! I certainly could not find reason to spend quite so much money but certainly believe it's a fine product. As was of course "Working Wood".
