This was intended to be part of the top of a box, but I made a mistake and printed it at 200%. I decided to turn a mistake into a feature and went round it with a pyrography pen. (Cheers, Bryan!)
It's the first time I used the pen other than trying it out, so I am quite pleased how it came out, though I have to confess I kept the photo small as it doesn't stand close scrutiny.

Probably not for a while, Gill. I got some new tools, (maybe that should be toys?), for my lathe and milling machine, so I am likely to be making a mess with metal for the forseeable future. When it's warm enough to stay out in the garage for more than 10 minutes at a time.

That's a shame, but yay new tools =D> recently bought a new Makita router trimmer kit and totally in love with it - sooo much better than my old 4.5 kilo plunge router which was heavy and with a hugely strong spring on the plunge mechanism, have fun, weather getting warmer this week

Pete, this was my first attempt. Recently Bryan upgraded his pyrography pen and gave me his old one but up to now I had only scribbled on some offcuts. I would think that with a good book or tutor it should be reasonably easy to pick up, but if you are like me and have zero artistic ability, it'll continue to look like scribble. :mrgreen:
