This was intended to be part of the top of a box, but I made a mistake and printed it at 200%. I decided to turn a mistake into a feature and went round it with a pyrography pen. (Cheers, Bryan!)
It's the first time I used the pen other than trying it out, so I am quite pleased how it came out, though I have to confess I kept the photo small as it doesn't stand close scrutiny.

I like that :) , will we get to see the box as well?

Probably not for a while, Gill. I got some new tools, (maybe that should be toys?), for my lathe and milling machine, so I am likely to be making a mess with metal for the forseeable future. When it's warm enough to stay out in the garage for more than 10 minutes at a time.

That's a shame, but yay new tools =D> recently bought a new Makita router trimmer kit and totally in love with it - sooo much better than my old 4.5 kilo plunge router which was heavy and with a hugely strong spring on the plunge mechanism, have fun, weather getting warmer this week :D

How did you find pyrography Martin, easy to pick up or a bit tricky?

Pete, this was my first attempt. Recently Bryan upgraded his pyrography pen and gave me his old one but up to now I had only scribbled on some offcuts. I would think that with a good book or tutor it should be reasonably easy to pick up, but if you are like me and have zero artistic ability, it'll continue to look like scribble.
