Hi
I am new to wood turning, have a SIP Lathe and will be attending some courses locally in the next few weeks. I have done a couple of small projects and am greatly enjoying it.
I am quite interested in segmented work and saw somewhere a jig for cutting reducing (or increasing) circles from a flat piece of wood. They then stack on top of each other and can make a bowl or whatever you want.
I can think of other ways of cutting these, I think that I saw it on a scroll saw in one book, but this did look a very precise system, I think it was called a Massenger jig or similar to that.
I'm sure that my description is very weak but does anyone, including me, have any idea what I am talking about?
