Seasoned wood in South Wales

[Sundance]

Looking for a supplier of well seasoned wood in South Wales.. I'm making gun stocks. Ideal woods would be beech, walnut and cherry.

I'm in Swansea and have been to Swansea Timber and Ply and Nottage Timber in Pyle but there is not much suitable there.

Yandles down in Somerset is brilliant but quite a trip and I was wondering if there is anywhere closer...

Have you tried wentwood timber near Newport. All local woods, not sure about walnut but plenty of cherry

Timberman in Bronwydd near Carmarthen has a small amount of home grown timber blanks, nothing too exotic but might be worth a call

Sundance have your tried Dickmans http://dickmans-timber.co.uk/ been there this morning he has huge selection of different timbers,all Air dried,no Kiln dried.
