Sealing paint

Hi,
Wife is painting some furniture and needs some non yellowing Matt varnish to seal. Any recommendations please?

No nonsense water based floor varnish from Screwfix works for me

I have had good success with Polyvine Decorators Varnish. It is made for this kind of job

The Polyvine is very good but it is a bit strange to use.
It`s quite thick and it took me a while to get the right amount per coat. I found that you need to get it on there, level it fast then tip it off only once. Don`t mess with it because it dries fast. It`s really nice once you get the knack of it.

I really like using the rustins stuff. The satin and the gloss you can get in screwfix but they don't do the matt. Amazon do though:
