Hi all,
Currently I am working on a scroll saw project that has quite a few internal cuts so it was using the Allen key to loosen the clamp take to take the top of blade out then re-tighten it etc and it was becoming a bit lengthy continuously doing this. So after looking online for a quick release clamp for my scroll saw (only a cheap one but does what i need it to do) and not finding one I decided to make my own version of something similar

I noticed the original machine screw was an M4 and i had a few M4 bolts lying around I then went to BPF Online and ordered a sample of a couple of plastic turn knobs (great resource to get the occasional turn knob for free by just extending the truth of your "business" - seriously though if i needed to order them I would get it from them, good customer service and quick delivery)

I threaded the bolt through the knob and put it in the machine. So far it works a treat and cost me nothing (A mate actually gave me the M4 bolts as well :) )

When i have finished the scroll saw piece ill post up here.

Cheers
Mark
