scroll saw clubs?

Is there any kind of organised scroll sawing in or around bracknell berks please? My sister is interested.

I would doubt it, but perhaps a local UKW friendly member may help?

TBH I doubt if there are any in the uk, these days there are not that many people interested in general woodwork let alone scrollsawing, you only have to see how many members post regularly here, yes there are quite a lot of posts but they are mostly made by the same hard core of members. Sadly I bet if you stopped 10 people in the street you would be hard pressed to find one who knew what a scroll saw was!

MY sister (73 this year) also knew nothing about it untill going on an activity weekend. She likes it and wants to buy a saw. looks like its another you tube tutorial.

See if Axminster or similar would help by emailing the people they have sold scroll saws to in an area , and then start a club

She's not that keen. Just wants to try it and pass some time.
