I'm quite interested in buying this
http://www.rutlands.co.uk/cgi-bin/psProdDet.cgi/ACCUSCRIBE In my line of joinery work the only main things I need to scribe are architraves and worktops (on the rare occasion that I fit a kitchen). during my apprenticeship I was just taught to use a block of timber, but I like the look of this and think I'll get some use out of it. Is it worth the £14 price?
Also, I've never really got on with normal marking gauges so I'd like to get a wheel gauge. Admittedly, I haven't had a gauge in my tool box for years. I've always found an alternative way of marking but if I have one I'm pretty sure I'll use it. So due to it being a tool that won't be used a hell of a lot I don't need to spend a large amount on it, so was considering this
http://www.rutlands.co.uk/cgi-bin/psProdDet.cgi/DKZ7 so any opinions on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jon
