Hello

I have just taken delivery of a scheppach ts 4020 with scoring attachment, i have spent the last day or so setting it all up. The only problem i'm having is that when i try to cut a 600 wide board (melamine) the first 30 - 40 are spelching on the underside the rest of the cut seems to be fine.
I think i've got the scoring blade set ok as i can just see the line on the cut.
I just don't understand why the first 30 -40mm would spelch and the rest be ok.

Any ideas woud be most welcome.

Thanks Pintglass

The only thing I can think of is that the scoring blade may not be set high enough and is not catching the first bit of the panel either because the panel is warped or that the sliding table is not set square to the table and the panel is raised a little bit. Other than that have you tried moving the scoring saw over a fraction to see if it still happens.
