I am having to downsize machinery due to moving house.
This is a single phase 240v machine, which I was told requires a 16 amp supply to start up, but it's never tripped any of my standard sockets.
This planes up to 260mm, the thicknesser has a 250mm wide table with a 150mm drop.
Comes with several sets of 260x18x3mm blades, which will need sharpening, as they were only £12.28 on ebay I never bothered, but they are over £20 now.
This thing hurls out fountains of man-glitter, so I have rigged up a cheap cyclone chip separator on a metal bin to a Record dust extractor, which does a great job of getting most of the chips out, unless you take a very deep cut! (Included)
The only problem I have had with it was a drive belt melted when I jammed an almost square piece in the wrong way round, but it was an easy repair with a £14 belt from ebay.
Collection from Clitheroe in Lancashire will require a pickup, van or trailer.
£450 £400.
Buyers will have 1st dibs of a few choice bits Mahogany, AB Walnut and some turning blanks!
