Does anyone know if this can take disposable blades which need no set up and just clip straight on? If not, anyone know which machines do have this feature, can't find any info on sellers sites which mention this feature other than Felder types.
Any info most welcome

Try searching for Tersa, and then gulp at the price.

No experience with disposables.

Elektra beckum (metabo) 260. You just have to watch which model.... the cheaper usually takes resharpenable. Either can be converted to the other with the correct lockbar set as an extra.

As Jake has suggested; it sounds as if a machine with a TERSA block is what you'll really want. They accept TCT blades which just slide in and out again. With the cheaper (cobalt?) disposable blades, I think you'll still need to adjust them with grub screws each time you fit a new pair.

1st thanks for the replies, I thought tersa blocks were the ones which took the tiny square multiple blades but now realise they are called spiral cutters. I've used 3 different machines for planing and all took disposable blades which just took minutes to change as they fitted over lugs and secured with allen bolts. Looks like I've a decision to make :?
