Hello everyone,

I have just come across an old draper table saw 10 inch.

It's a bit of an old nag but I was given it so I may as well tidy it up to use. I'm thinking of using it as a saw I can pop in the van to use for general work on site. The problem is, it has a 254mm blade with the centre hole bore of 16mm, most of the 254mm blades I see on the web are 30mm hole size. I have seen a couple of 16mm bore but only at a blade size of 160mm.

Can you get adaptors for saw blades to reduce bore size?

Any advice will be most appreciated.

Thanks for reading

Gareth

Haha, thanks, as soon as I pressed post, I thought of axminster. I always forget that website. I was looking on screwfix. Just ordered some, had a look at the upgrade fence for band & table saws. Its got good reviews so I may buy that shortly. My "free" table saw will end up costing about 100 quid. There's no such thing as free I guess.

Hi, the lady who had it says its 10 to 12 yrs old. I never looked at imperial size to be honest but i'm fairly confident it's 16mm. Soon find out when they arrive :-?
