If you have a penchant for seeing old classic aircraft flying then please bear a thought for this campaign??

They are trying to raise £250,000 before the end of the month to keep the project alive. Every little helps!

Saw this on the news this morning - good project. I used to work with a guy who ejected from one of these at zero feet, he survived tho' he had extensive surgery as the ejector seat landed with him, I think. Interestingly, the same powerplant in the V bomber fleet from the 50's as in Concorde  - Rob

It was announced on the news this morning that they have reached their target and expect to have the Vulcan flying again for next year - looking forward to that one :)

I remember walking across St James' Park in London during the Falklands campaign and a Vulcan bomber, along with a few other aircraft, flew over really low - scared the daylights out of me   Wouldn't have wanted to be on the receiving end of what it was probably carrying

I thought you were going to say that you wanted to save this Vulcan:

...in which case, count me in! :D

Busily preparing emigrate-to-NZ paperwork. I may even be able to have a workshop then. A workshop! With a bench. And cupboards! Cupboards! Just thinking of it makes me come over all goosebumpy.
