Salt & Pepper spring

Hi All,
I have sent off for and received my salt and pepper mill kit from Axminster on Page 603 but it has a spring in the packet that I do not know were it go's.
Can you help to explain how it all go's together.
Answer is.
Go to local charity shop and bye a pepper grinder, then dismantle.
The spring go's between the plastic housing and the metal grinder, there is a recess on the plastic part that holds the spring.
I would think it would help if Axminster had a small diagram in the packet.

I find that's usually the cheapest source of mechanisms; chuck away the turned in Chaiwan wooden bit, and there you are :lol:

I look in charity shops for grinders but haven't found any yet.
I've never actually tried a standard mechanism as I've always preferred the Crushgrind ones - gives more freedom for the design. They are a bit pricier though.
Apparently Ikea in Canada sells grinders with the Crushgrind mechanism but, unfortunately, they don't appear to here.
