Got a last minute job that I made a start on today. They are to be saloon doors to fit in an archway. Started this morning and got the frames assembled.

Centre panels will be raised panel. :D

Does the shape of the top match the arch? If not might it look odd or is the gap large enough so you don't associate them?

I'd presume there'd be a big gap and the arch would be an "arch". Until I went to Mexico I believed these things only existed in movies, but they are actually very practical in all sorts of situations where you don't need a complete and solid barrier but need a way of saying "a barrier exists".

Yes Mike, there is a big gap between the top and the arch. Customer want's it to keep his cat out of one of the rooms while he is out. Mind you I think the cat will probably climb it instead.

Our old decrepit cat could jump 2 metres, and love to sit in front of the alarm sensors! Nice work Alan!

Man flu, I had that once, boy I was poorly............. anyhow the doors, I must admit I didn't think they looked right at the top in your first pics, however now that the panels are fitted they look great.
