Has anyone used them, and if so are they any good?

If they are well made, six of them for £29 seems a good deal, and as with Bessey clamps I like the idea of the square heads which allows them to sit upright on a bench.

Cheers

Mike

I've got two the same as these but they aint Bessey's, at that price they are sort of ok but the cheeks go out of square if you over tighten, but as I've already said they are worth that price. Anyway you cant have enough clamps can you  who said that?

The picture on the website appears to show the "bar" as being the ally u-channel type similar to these at screwfix despite being described in the blurb as "Produced from flat aluminium beam". Can anyone confirm which they actually are?

I have quite a few of these clamps and find them ok. Not Bessey but useful. Things to look out for.
If you over tighten them the Alu bar tries to open in the middle meaning the clamp part is difficult to get passed on the next job. Not a big problems as a wee squeeze on the vice soon sorts it out. Second fault is the pin and washer that holds the clamp on. I have had a few open up and drop the pin out. Again not a big problem as a nylock nut and bolt do a better job.

As per the photo, the ones I have are made for Aluminium flat bar and bent to form a channel with rolled ends.
