hi could someone give me any info on this large german router

Haffner are still a manufacturer of static machinery for window making who formerly also made a limited range of woodworking machinery such as chain lock mortisers, mitre saws, power feeders as well as laminate trimmers and plunge routers. They seem to have merged with another company, Murat Machinery a specialist in PVC and aluminium profile processing to form Haffner-Murat, in 2012. At that point (or before) they seem to have dropped their portable power tools. Take a look

I actually have one of their laminate trimmers from the 1960s which I'll maybe get round to refurbishing eventually. It has a brown Bakelite body and weighs a ton
