Roof lantern construction

Hi All

I asked this question on another forum and had a good reply but thought I would put it to a wider audience.
I am building a 15'x15' flat roof extension and want to put a roof lantern in around 5'x5'. It is my intention to build this myself. I am looking for more detailed modern construction techniques books or info on this subject. Can anyone help.
