This sale consists of two Robust tool rests, one 6"/150mm long and one 12"/300mm long. The 12" has only seen very light use, the 6" is unused. Robust rests are widely judged to be the best tool rests available, they have a hardened steel rod welded to the top which will always remain smooth as it won't get nicked by lathe tools. Plus the body of the rest is highly polished so you can run your fingers along in a dead straight line.
Both these rests are the "Comfort" versions, they both have 1"/25.4mm posts, and the posts are 95mm long, the overall height from the top of the rest to the bottom of the post is 145mm.
The new price for these two is £165, so this is a bargain at £100 plus £5 P&P. Or pick them up in person and save the P&P. I'm on the south coast in the New Forest, midway between Southampton and Bournemouth. I'll be listing quite a few turning tools over the next few days and will consolidate postage for multiple purchases.
