helo all, the present mrs cornucopia treated me to a sorby texturing tool last xmas and this is a texture i accidently found one day whilist trying to acheive somthing else, i quite liked the results so left it :D what do you think?

Works well,falls into my personal criteria of "highlighting without overpowering",as the sycamore figuring is lovely in it's own right ,but one doesn't detract from the other :D

I like it. :)

I think it adds to the overall finish without detracting from the natural characteristics of the wood.

I also have a texturing tool but haven't used it yet.

The lack of distinct geometric pattern is an enhancement in my opinion, blends in with the natural figuring and at the same time forms a distinct break without grabbing too much attention.
 
If she dont buy the gouge does she become Your Significant other Half :D :D :D

:evil: Here's me, I've spent dozens of hours this week and using every nut, bolt, washer, bearings and anything else I can lay my hands on in an effort to make a texturing tool, then it appears that half the members here have texturing tools tucked away in a draw, NEVER USED :!:
