ring tool

Hi all.
just returned from a visit to UK & bought myself a crown ring tool, now i know this sounds daft but how is it used & how do i sharpen it.

Hi johnluc.

I have a couple of ring tools, not too easy to use but persevere and they will give you a great cut across the bottom of a deep pot.
