I've a similar 4 1/2, sits there looking pretty. Good for weight lifting but I reach for the No 4 next to it every time.

Sure. I also have a 5. But the 51/2 is better for use with a shooting board. And so I find it more versatile.

Do you have a pic of the chip breaker? Where abouts are you? I am Basingstoke and if not too far and chip breaker damage doesn't affect use I would like it and could collect at the weekend
