I came across this about a year ago but I've lost the link to the website and wondered if anyone can help.

It seemed a rather nifty router as after you've made the first pass from right to left, you'd flick a switch on the router and it would start rotating in the opposite direction so you could then pass the stock from left to right and clean the cut up without having to use the dreaded climb-cutting. They also claimed to eliminate breakout.

So as it's my birthday coming up and SWMBO has offered to buy it.... :D .

It was made, I thought, by American Power or some such name...could have been Aussie, not sure and I think it was called the Inverta-Lux Router or something like that. Google's not coming up with much so maybe I've got the name wrong. It was a new company, I do remember that and it was their first foray into this market.

Thanks chaps.

   Very good but you're not the first today. A 'mate' rang me this morning at 7 am

This is the only one that momentarily fooled me this morning when I got up. I very nearly posted that I'd never come across it and it sounds bizzare.

Well Done Rog

Veritas AF Products are always very cool. I wonder if any of them were actually made?? Or are they all 3d Renderings?

Tom,

At the last Axminster Show, Rob Lee had the marking gauge with him, I touched it! All of the Veritas ones are real hardware.
