My ni cad batteries (5 x 1.2v D cell) have failed after 5 years, these batteries are fitted internally to my Triton respirator.
The local electrician located some Mi nh replacement batteries but the charger is one of those cell type chargers which requires the batteries be removed and placed inside a charger unit.
My set up requires the lead plug type charger so the batteries are not removed from the respirator set up.

Anyone know where I can obtain such a charger?

(Done a google but they are all that cell type charger)

The supplier went for the Ni mh type batteries and he reckoned I would need a new charger because the old one was nicad.
Hoping for faster charge on Nimh. the old nicads took 14hours and only 3 hours use.
