Refinished old wooden coffee table

Hi all,

I received this old wooden coffee table from a friend, and felt it had potential so decided to refinish it with gel stain. Didn't really have much experience with this kind of thing before, but I'm actually quite happy with the results. It's actually something worthy putting in my home now.

Hello Tim and welcome to the forum looks like a very nice table both before and after. I know very little about finishing other than using wax or paint, did you spray finish the table?
